Indian Air force will receive AH-64E Apache made by Boeing in 2019, know what it means for India in tactical battle scenario
An alliance between American multinational corporation Boeing and Indian Air Force will work towards modernising the Indian Air Force’s helicopter fleet. The motive of the project is to strengthen the Indian armed forces’ capabilities for which the aerospace major company has brought the AH-64E Apache and CH-47F (I) Chinook choppers to the country. These highly advanced helicopters are huge assets for the Indian Air Force.

AH-64E Apache is a versatile machine, equipped with laser and infrared systems. It is designed for all kinds of missions and fires the Hellfire missiles besides its arsenal of 70 mm rockets with automatic cannon. Apache will be the first pure attack chopper for Indian Air Force. In the tactical battle scenario, the machine will have a very significant role.
The Indian government signed the deal with the company in 2015 but the 22 Apache helicopters for the Indian Air Force will get delivered in the beginning of 2019.
