2 militants killed in Jammu and Kashmir

Two militants were killed on Monday by the Army in an anti-terror operation in Jammu and Kashmir’s Bandipora, a defence official said.

“Two terrorists were killed today in the Panar forest area,” Defence Ministry spokesman Colonel Rajesh Kalia told IANS.

The Army surrounded the area after militants fired at a patrol party on June 9.

On June 13, two militants and a soldier were killed in the operation.
